Unannounced Project
For this unannounced project I have been working both as the lead environmental artist, in addition to my primary specialization of Game Designer. My tasks have included:
- Taking blockouts from the level designer and creating a compelling environment that fits the target audience.
- Terrain sculpting of the game demo.
- Terrain texturing of the game demo.
- Scene dressing of the game demo.
- Shader Design for the environment.
- Hard-Surface modelling of game logo
- Hard-Surface modelling of environmental assets for the game
- Soft-Surface sculpting of environmental assets for the game
- Basic rigging, skin weight painting and animation of low fidelity enemies in the game.
- Conceptulize possible traversal mechanics that function within the setting of the game, as well as fits the style of the primary protagonist.
- Construction of a rational level design doc for the overarching game, detailing the player's journey through the experience to ensure progression and variety.
- Documentation of Primary, Secondary and Tertiary gameplay elements for presentation to investors.
- Document and outline advantage and disadvantages of different world styles for the team, along with possible solutions.
As the game is currently still In development, I am unfortunately unable to explain in detail the various different elements I have worked on.
